GHOST NETWORK

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Ghost Network (GNET) is a free, non-commercial community for GTA Online players on PC. We keep data to the minimum our community features need, we never sell it and we never use it for ads.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Ghost Network (GNET), the community run by its founder TredepicaX. Contact: contact@gnetcrew.com or a ticket in #support on our Discord server.

Mail sent to our address passes through Cloudflare, which checks the sender and filters out spam and dangerous links, and is then delivered to our mailbox at Google (Gmail). We keep it only as long as we need it to answer you.

We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Discord. Their own privacy policies apply to your Social Club and Discord accounts.

2. This website

2a. Logging in with Discord (optional)

If you choose Log in with Discord to open My Ghost, your member panel:

Legal basis: your request to use My Ghost (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in keeping accounts secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Our Discord bots (Ghost Syndicate and Ghost Bandits)

When you use our bots on the Ghost Network Discord server, they store what they need to run the features you use:

Heist proof screenshots. When a heist host sends the end screen as proof, the image is shown to staff and read automatically by Cloudflare Workers AI to check the result. We keep only a short fingerprint of the image for 90 days, so the same screenshot cannot be used twice.

Player list screenshots. When a crew session host or a staff member sends a screenshot of the in-game player list with /session update, Cloudflare Workers AI reads the player count and the names on the list. The names are only compared with the Social Club names our members added themselves, to find which of our members are in that session (so the 🎮 Join button can work). The image and the names are not stored: once read, the screenshot is discarded and only the count (and, if found, which GTA session it is) is kept.

Why we may do this (legal basis): our legitimate interest in running a fair, safe community and the features you choose to use (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and your consent where you switch something on yourself, such as activity sharing (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Where the data lives: Cloudflare (database and AI, servers worldwide) and Discord. Both use standard contractual safeguards for transfers outside the EU.

4. How long we keep it

5. Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or get a copy. Ask with a ticket in #support on our Discord server or by email at contact@gnetcrew.com. We answer within one month. Some records (such as an active ban) may be kept if we need them to protect the community, and we will tell you if that happens.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro); elsewhere in the EU, your local authority.

6. Age

GTA Online is rated PEGI 18. To join our Discord you must meet Discord's minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes

If we change how we use data (for example when new features arrive on the site), we will update this page first and announce it on Discord.
